Music

At Hayes Park we prioritise music in all its forms. We have:

A specialist music teacher so that all children have a music lesson every week with an expert
A dedicated, well resourced music room
A programme of instrumental learning so that all children learn how to play the ocarina, the recorder, the keyboard & the trumpet
A music assembly in each key stage every week
Links with the local music hub to provide peripatetic instrumental lessons
A vibrant school choir who are active in the community performing
A programme of musical visitors to expose children to a range of music (e.g. RAF band/Kidenza)
A link with ACS International Schools to provide enrichment beyond the curriculum (e.g. G Live Night at the Musicals)
A programme of school performances so that the children can perform to an audience

Choir at St.Anselm's

On Thursday 13th November, the choir joined other local schools to sing carols at St. Anselm's and help the Mayor turn on the Hayes Town Christmas lights. Well done to Mr James who conducted the assembled choirs.

A Night at the West End

Through our partnership with ACS International Schools, some of our children performed at G Live in Guildford with West End stars and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra!

Young Voices

Our choir enjoyed being part of the largest choir in the world at the 02!

Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee

We loved coming together as a school to sing songs through the decades and The National Anthem to celebrate this amazing achievement. Thanks to our talented staff band!

Year 6 Show: The Wizard of Oz

Year 6 performed at one of our local secondary schools (Uxbridge High) on their outdoor stage in July to mark the end of their time with us. The performance was outstanding; we are so proud of them.
