At Hayes Park School, our enrichment programme is designed to develop the whole child, nurturing curiosity, creativity and character in line with our PREP values—Perseverance, Respect, Excellence, and Partnership. These opportunities prepare pupils for lifelong learning and active citizenship.

Civic Engagement
We encourage pupils to become responsible, caring members of their community. Through projects such as Pupil Parliament participation, Eco-Councillors, Junior Travel Ambassadors, charity fundraising, local community partnerships and more, pupils learn the importance of teamwork, respect and social responsibility. These experiences support our vision of partnership and help pupils develop empathy and leadership skills.
Arts & Culture
Our vibrant arts programme celebrates creativity and self-expression. Pupils engage in music, drama, visual arts and regular performances and exhibitions. These activities foster confidence, perseverance and a commitment to excellence, while broadening cultural awareness and appreciation.
Nature & Outdoors
We offer Forest School sessions and outdoor learning opportunities every lunch time through our OPAL programme; these connect pupils with the natural world. These experiences promote resilience, environmental stewardship and well-being, encouraging pupils to explore, problem-solve and collaborate in a safe and inspiring outdoor setting.
Sports & Physical Activity
Physical health and teamwork are key to our enrichment offer. Pupils can participate in a wide range of sports clubs, competitions, taster sessions and daily active play (through OPAL). These activities build perseverance, respect for others and a healthy lifestyle, supporting both physical and mental well-being.
Wider Life Skills
Our enrichment programme also focuses on essential life skills such as mindfulness, social interaction and practical skills. We have a team of Digital Leaders and run coding clubs alongside a comprehensive computing curriculum as well as a school podcast led by the children. Pupils engage in activities that develop emotional well-being, communication and independence, underpinning a supportive and inclusive school community. Our wraparound care offer ensures that children have a safe. warm, engaging social space to flourish. We offer additional experiences and opportunities for those from our community who need it the most.
